Emma Rentzel is a current undergraduate student of Music Education with a vocal music concentration at Mason Gross School of the Arts, and has experience on numerous woodwind instruments, primarily the flute . She is originally from South Jersey where she spent most of her time on the podium conducting her high school’s marching band or singing in various community theater programs.  

 

In her time at Rutgers Emma has continued to fuel her passion for music education by serving on executive boards for organizations such as Rutgers NAfME Chapter, Rutgers ACDA Chapter, and the Voorhees Choir.  In addition to the two choirs she is a part of, she enjoys being a part of the Marching Scarlet Knights band as well as the Rutgers Concert Band.  Outside of music, Emma loves fiber art: sewing, knitting, and crocheting.
